I just got myself ABS and BlogsenseWP (testing both to see if I will need ABS or if I should stick to BSWP) and I have a few questions:

- how many blogs can it (realistically) work with - I mean have you ever tested it with, say, 1000 blogs

- when is the next version coming (in the next few weeks / months / next year?)

- will you ever include ability to post to other platforms i.e. metaweblog (Pivotx, Flatpress etc) I could REALLY use it (they are less resource intensive than WP).

- what if I add new .txt files to the PLR folder - will it update the list automatically or do I have to import them again. also, what if edit the file after it was scheduled to post

- do you plan to include Thebestspinner API in the next version/ever?

- right now it pulls and posts photos from feeds - I don't see any way to just post pure text (without editing each and every post)

- it would be nice if it was more "hands free" (full auto-blog) - it would sit it the background and update feeds / post automatically.

Other suggestions:
- it needs some kind of indicator when entries will be posted - for now it only has "as per schedule" which doesn't really tell me much (is it the next day or maybe 3 months from now)
- ability to rearrange blogs in the sidebar
- export/import of all options
- find and replace
- independent feeds - it would post to selected blogs at random

I really like the fact that it's a desktop software (host doesn't moan about using too many resources) but it could use some new functionality. I mean, I see BlogsenseWP have everything I need, even ability to post to other platforms via Pixelpipe/email, why should I pick Auto Blogging Software?

Good luck with receiving a definite answer. I have used Auto blogger for over a year but lately it has looked increasingly old/slow and in need of a complete overhaul. I now use it to scrape the content and then I copy it to Microsoft live writer because it gives me a real editing environment.

It seems you want ABS to do all the work for you? The current program is simple and well constructed to enable autoposting of content. Creating successfull autoblogs is hard work and ABS is just a very small but very usefull part of the process.

Personally I am not looking for software to do all the work but it would be nice if some of the bugs were removed. I have feeds with over 400 posts that I cannot delete from without the post returning days later. I would love to have an option to limit the number of posts a feed fetches each time and I wish when I edit a feed to change even one small thing that it would not then delete all the posts in that feed. It is also a little strange that there is no undo function. Many times I have accidentally deleted a word or image and have to then browse to the website to find it.

It just feels like this software is standing still while others, admittedly WordPress plugins not desktop, are advancing and replying to their users queries.

Obviously I like the software, I have been using it for over a year and would recommend it to others who need a desktop solution. Just be prepared to work at it more than should be necessary in a program of this maturity.

Looking forward to the next version
